TheToadPlayer's Suggestion: Making barrels drop its contents when broken?
- Under what circumstances?
- If it has a block ready to remove, like glowstone or endstone? I could probably do this.
- If you put items in a barrel to turn into dirt? The barrel doesn't have a true inventory. It's not coded like a chest. Once you put in an item, the fullness % goes up and the compost color changes. It has no record of what was put into it. I would have to rewrite the barrel functionality from the ground up to make this possible.
- If it has a fluid in it? This is possible as well, but it would only work if the barrel is full. Being able to break a half full barrel and get a full source block of fluid out would be a dupe bug. Again though, some of the fluids like witch water and liquid slime aren't true fluids (yet) so they would have to be coded first.

3 is what I meant, the others not so much.

Is the goal so that you can let the barrel fill with rain and then smash it to create a water source block? =D I'll put it on the todo list, but it might be a while. Erasmus Crowley (talk) 01:36, November 4, 2013 (UTC)
Yup, that is what I meant :)

WangthePhoenix Suggestion: How about having a brick hammer? (I know it's a bit random)
